Iraqi intelligence arrested “Nimr Baghdad”, one of the leaders of “ISIS” organization, in an operation it described as a “lightning” west of the capital.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, quoting the intelligence service’s statement, today, Thursday, a lightning intelligence operation in the Abu Ghraib area, west of the capital, Baghdad, resulted in the arrest of Nimr Sweid, known as the “Baghdad Tiger.”

The statement added that “the tiger of Baghdad” is the son of the leader of the “ISIS” organization, Ahmed Abdullah Sweid, and he was in charge of the booby-trapping detachments in the so-called southern state in the organization.

In late January, Iraqi security forces killed Abu Yasir al-Issawi, a leader in ISIS who called himself “the deputy caliph” and the governor of Iraq.
