صراحة نيوز- تحت رعاية سمو الأمير فراس بن رعد المعظم، أعلنت الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات (Run Jordan) عن بدء التحضيرات لتنظيم النسخة السادسة عشرة من برومين ماراثون عمّان 2026، والمقرر إقامتها يوم الجمعة الموافق 2 تشرين الأول 2026 في العاصمة عمّان، وسط استعدادات متواصلة لتقديم نسخة جديدة من أحد أبرز الأحداث الرياضية السنوية في المملكة.
وتحمل النسخة السادسة عشرة أهمية خاصة، بعد حصول ماراثون عمّان 2026 على تصنيف World Athletics Road Race Label 2026 من الاتحاد الدولي لألعاب القوى للسنة الثانية على التوالي، ضمن تصنيف حصلت عليه الجمعية لاثنين من أبرز سباقاتها لهذا العام، وهما ماراثون عمّان ونصف ماراثون البحر الأحمر، في إنجاز يعكس تطور مستوى السباقات الأردنية ويعزز حضورها على خارطة الجري الدولية.
ويقام الماراثون تحت شعار “اركض في قلب عمّان”، ليجمع العدائين والهواة من الأردن ومختلف دول العالم في شوارع العاصمة، ضمن تجربة رياضية تعكس حيوية المدينة ومكانتها كوجهة للفعاليات الرياضية والسياحية.
وأعلنت الجمعية بالتزامن مع بدء التحضيرات عن فتح باب التسجيل للمشاركة في برومين ماراثون عمّان 2026، بعد تطوير نظام التسجيل وربطه مع دائرة الأحوال المدنية والجوازات، بهدف ضمان دقة وصحة معلومات العدائين، وتسهيل الإجراءات، ومواصلة رقمنة الخدمات بما ينسجم مع التوجهات الحكومية في التحول الرقمي.
ومن جانبها، أكدت الآنسة لينا الكرد، المدير العام للجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات، أن التحضيرات للماراثون بدأت مبكرًا بالتنسيق مع مختلف الجهات المعنية، مشيرة إلى أن النسخة السادسة عشرة تمثل محطة مهمة في مسيرة الماراثون، خاصة مع حصوله على تصنيف World Athletics Road Race Label 2026.
وأضافت الكرد أن هذا التصنيف يشكل دافعًا لمواصلة تطوير الماراثون والارتقاء بتجربة المشاركين وفق المعايير الدولية، وتعزيز مكانة الأردن كوجهة تستقطب العدائين من المنطقة والعالم.
وثمّنت الكرد دعم شركة برومين الأردن، الراعي الرئيسي للماراثون، والشراكة المستمرة مع مختلف المؤسسات الوطنية والجهات الرسمية والأمنية والرياضية التي تسهم في تنظيم الحدث، مؤكدة أن تكامل الجهود يمثل عنصرًا أساسيًا في نجاح الماراثون عامًا بعد عام.
كما أكدت الجمعية أن سلامة العدائين وجودة تجربتهم تأتيان في مقدمة أولويات التحضيرات، حيث يجري العمل على مختلف الجوانب الفنية والتنظيمية واللوجستية، بما يشمل تجهيز المسارات والخدمات الطبية والسلامة المرورية وتنظيم حركة المشاركين، إلى جانب الدور الأساسي للمتطوعين في مختلف مراحل الحدث.
وتشمل فعاليات برومين ماراثون عمّان 2026 الماراثون الفردي لمسافة 42.195 كم، وماراثون التتابع لمسافة 42.195 كم، ونصف الماراثون لمسافة 21 كم للفردي ولفئة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، إلى جانب سباق 10 كم للفردي ولفئة الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة، لتتيح المشاركة أمام العدائين من مختلف المستويات والقدرات كما سيقام سباق الاطفال كعادته منفصلا في حدائق الحسين بعد اسبوع من السباق الرئيسي للفئات العمرية من 6-14 سنة.
ودعت الجمعية الأردنية للماراثونات العدائين والعداءات من داخل المملكة وخارجها إلى التسجيل والمشاركة في النسخة السادسة عشرة من برومين ماراثون عمّان 2026، والاستعداد لخوض تجربة الجري في قلب العاصمة عمّان يوم الجمعة الموافق 2 تشرين الأول المقبل.

16th Edition of the Bromine Amman Marathon 2026 Set for October 2
Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Firas bin Raad Run Jordan has announced the start of preparations for the 16th edition of the Bromine Amman Marathon 2026, scheduled to take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, in the capital, Amman, as preparations continue for one of Jordan’s leading annual sporting events.
The 16th edition holds particular significance following the Amman Marathon 2026 receiving the World Athletics Road Race Label 2026 from World Athletics federation for the second year. Run Jordan received the international label for two of its major races this year: the Amman Marathon and the Red Sea Half Marathon, marking an important achievement that reflects the continued development of Jordan’s road races and strengthens their presence on the international running calendar.
Held under the slogan “Run in the Heart of Amman,” the marathon will bring together runners and enthusiasts from Jordan and around the world across the streets of the capital, offering a sporting experience that reflects Amman’s vibrant character and its growing position as a destination for sporting and tourism events.
Alongside the launch of preparations, Run Jordan also announced the opening of registration for the Bromine Amman Marathon 2026, following an upgrade to its registration system and its integration with the Civil Status and Passports Department. The development aims to ensure the accuracy of runners’ information, streamline registration procedures, and further advance the digitalization of services in line with the government’s digital transformation efforts.
Ms. Lina El Kurd, General Manager of Run Jordan, stated that preparations for the marathon began early in coordination with the relevant entities, noting that the 16th edition represents an important milestone in the marathon’s journey, particularly following its achievement of the World Athletics Road Race Label 2026.
El Kurd added that the international label provides further momentum to continue developing the marathon, enhance the runners’ experience in line with international standards, and strengthen Jordan’s position as a destination for runners from the region and around the world.
El Kurd also expressed her appreciation for the continued support of Jordan Bromine Company, the marathon’s main sponsor, as well as the ongoing partnerships with national institutions and official, security, and sporting entities involved in organizing the event. She emphasized that collaboration among all partners remains a key factor in the marathon’s continued success year after year.
Run Jordan also emphasized that runners’ safety and overall experience remain at the forefront of preparations. Work is underway across all technical, organizational, and logistical aspects, including course preparation, medical services, traffic safety, and participant flow, alongside the essential role of volunteers throughout the event.
The Bromine Amman Marathon 2026 will feature the 42.195 km Individual Marathon, the 42.195 km Relay Marathon, the 21 km Half Marathon for individual runners and persons with disabilities, as well as the 10 km Race for individual runners and persons with disabilities, offering opportunities for runners of different abilities and experience levels to participate, and Run Jordan will organize the children’s race a week after the main race on the 9th of OCT for the age group between 6-14 years old.
Run Jordan invited runners from Jordan and abroad to register and take part in the 16th edition of the Bromine Amman Marathon 2026, and to prepare for a unique running experience in the heart of Amman on Friday, October 2.
